Pembroke Lodge Wedding Photography by Richmond Wedding Photographer Mathew Quake. Celia and Andy booked me last year to photograph their wedding at Pembroke Lodge in Richmond Park. The schedule also included a series of getting ready and bridal photographs at The Petersham Hotel, also a popular wedding venue in Richmond Upon Thames. We followed up on our initial meeting with a pre-wedding photo shoot in the gardens of Pembroke Lodge a few weeks before the big day. This provided opportunity to get to know eachother and also for me to scope out the best spots for bride and groom photographs. It was clear to me that the best way to bring the location to life for Celia and Andy was to inlude the front of the lodge, encorporate lots of colour from the beautiful range of flowers in some shots and also make the most of the fabuolous views. Both Celia and Andy are incredibly loving, kind and considerate people so I just put them in position, let them be natural with eachother and I shot away. We also did a couple of more posed shots looking off camera position, using some creative flash for photographs with a little more punch. This blog features a few highlights from their special day.
