Lillingston are a class act when it comes to events – the attention to detail, the premium quality, the care they have for their clients is second to none and I was flattered when they introduced me to Shahira and Jean-François, who booked me to cover their Lillingston wedding at The Connaught and Mortons in Mayfair. I spent some time with the bride and groom before the ceremony at Mayfair Library close by, then some family photographs at The Connaught, reportage shots during the drinks reception and dinner at Mortons. After dinner they put on a party with an awesome DJ, everyone really got into it and so I managed to capture some great shots of guests dancing. A lot of care and attention has gone into the post production work to ensure the colour pallet and the style of greyscale suited them and the feel of their wedding. I didn’t hesitate to go for, what is becoming hugely popular amongst modern and contemporary wedding shooters, a vintage style black and white finish. It’s classic, timeless, soft and elegant, perfectly suited to the wedding. I hope you like the pictures and please leave them a comment at the bottom if you wish. They are both a lovely couple, were great fun to work with on the day and I wish them all the very best for the future.
