Babington House wedding photography by London wedding photographer Mat Quake. Babington House and it’s 17 acre estate date back to Georgian times. A traditional English country wedding setting with a bohemian twist, nestled in the middle of the rolling Somerset hills. The wedding ceremony takes place in the Babington Chapel, St Margarets Church. On a sunny day the grounds surrounding the house and chapel are a lovley place to enjoy champagne and canapés after the ceremony. The lake, gardens and house offer a superb backdrop for contemporary, candid wedding photography.

This has been one of my favorite venues to photograph at this year. I was recommended to Duncan and Lisa through a friend and after meeting them for the first time we immediately hit it off. Since this was the first time for me to photograph at Babington House I arrived about four hours before I was due to be with Lisa and the girls for their getting ready photos. This gave me ample time to explore the grounds thoroughly and ensure I knew exactly where I wanted to take their formal family photographs as well as beautiful shots of them both as husband and wife.
