The Petersham Hotel Richmond | Cristina and Robert

It was a real pleasure to photograph Cristina and Robert’s intimate wedding at The Petersham Hotel on Saturday. It’s clear to see the strong connection they have with eachother, this comes across clearly in the photography. When we met before the wedding day, they were a little self-conscious about having their photographs taken. I reassured them that my approach and style is to keep the bride and groom photography very relaxed. On the day they were so natural with eachother, which made my job even easier. There was a bit of a blue colour theme running through the wedding so I was pleased to see some blue flowers outside the hotel, which I used as some foreground colour for some of the photos, which seemed to work really well.
