The Petersham Hotel is a lovely location for intimate weddings, with some lovely spots for photographs around the surrounding grounds and in the hotel itself. It’s one of my favourite local venues to shoot in and I was delighted when booked for Sarah and Giles’ wedding. I wanted to use this opportunity to share some moments captured through the day.
I have been a Pembroke Lodge Wedding Photographer for over five years now, it’s my local wedding venue and one of my favorite spots to capture weddings. Nadine and Andy booked me early last year to capture their wedding. We met at the lodge, which was a great opportunity for me to show them around and share some thoughts and provide some recommendations for photography during their day. They are a lovely, down to earth couple and so I was really pleased when they booked me. The day started with some getting ready pictures and a service in Earlsfield followed by the wedding reception, wedding breakfast and and evening party at the lodge. We were lucky to have such a crisp winters day and this made for some lovely sunset photographs of them both, which is always a real treat at Pembroke Lodge as it has such lovely views. I wish Nadine and Andy all the very best for the future, it was a pleasure capturing your day, enjoy some of my favorite moments.
As a newly appointed Denbies Vineyard wedding photographer I was thrilled to shoot my first wedding for a friend at this fab Surrey wedding venue. I have known Chris and many of his guests for some time, we met whilst I worked in marketing before I became a full time photographer. Even though our busy and differing career paths meant we hadn’t seen eachother for some time, I was thrilled when Chris got in touch to let me know he was getting married to Ombeline and that they would like me to capture the big day for them. Chris is a top bloke and Ombeline is lovely, a really well suited couple, it was going to be a huge pleasure to capture the wedding for them both. On the day itself I met with Ombeline, her bridesmaids and family at a local Dorking hotel for some candid getting ready photographs before meeting Chris and his fellow band of groomsmen at the local pub prior to the ceremony. There was ample time to capture some shots of them and guests arriving at the church, and great to see some familiar faces. Following on from an entertaining service and some great moments captured (aided by a very relaxed priest), it was soon time to orchestrate a classic celebratory photograph and an opportunity for guests to shower them in confetti. We then headed off to the venue and time for Chris and Ombeline to relax with guests before we went off to take some bride and groom shots up in the vineyard itself, with it’s awesome backdrop of rolling Surrey hills. The reminder of the day was spent capturing lots of natural shots during the wedding breakfast, speeches, evening reception and first dance. Great to see the SEGA boys again, a top wedding all round. As a regular Pembroke Lodge Wedding Photographer I never get tired of capturing weddings at this fabulous location, with its majestic vews, well kept gardens and laid back vibe, come rain or shine. I met Ellen and Tom last August, we walked around the gardens, chatted about how they met and what they were planning for their wedding. I showed them some of the best spots for capturing photographs before entering the house and going through their timings and my work in more detail. I was really pleased to get an email shortly after our meeting, confirming they wanted to book me. Part of the reason for doing this job is because I love being the person responsible for capturing such special memories for couples, lovely people like Ellen and Tom. The day started with some interest when a fire alarm at the Richmond Hill Hotel scuppered preperation plans temporarily and we did initially scamper for the exit, but managed to negotiate an easy return to the room on hearing the news it was only a false alarm. After captuing the girls I met Tom and his best man at the lodge, capturing them and guests arriving before the ceremony. The sun shined for us, so I managed to capture lots of reportage photographs on the lawn before going off with them both for a short session of bride and groom photographs. I was thrilled when Stephanie and Andy booked me to be their Nonsuch Mansion Wedding Photographer, it’s one of the nicest venues in Surrey to shoot a wedding. Not only are you blessed with a fab location, with it’s beautiful gardens and period property, the food is amazing and the staff will ensure you have a thoroughly enjoyable and a very relaxed wedding day. This was the second wedding I have photographed here and I love the fact that you have these beautiful scenic gardens to capture great natural shots of you both as husband and wife and a blend of period and contemporary interiors to take advantage of too, which form a great backdrop for your reportage shots throughout the day. Stephanie got ready in the bridal suit at Nonsuch before her and Andy were married in a local church where her parents tied the knot.
